Defence Officers Housing Authority, (DHA, Karachi) is the first housing scheme launched by Pakistan Armed Forces for its personnel. DHA, Karachi has become most thriving community in Karachi’s Clifton Cantonment. The armed forces of the Pakistan Welfare Department developed it for military personnel in the mid-1950s, but now both civilian and military families are welcome to live there. DHA City, an under development project is located in Gadap Town, Super Highway, M-9, Karachi. The project holds about 20,000 Acres of land which is being developed into mixed-use sustainable community with wide boulevards, commercial hubs, most modern design and planning. Dedicated interchange has been constructed for ease of traffic on M-9, Super Highway.

Development work is in full swing and most advance methods are being used to develop a new city in Karachi.
